Korean Language Lessons In San Diego - soompi hangout

August 2024 ยท 1 minute read

There are a few options.

First, both UCSD and recently SDSU has offered Korean language classes during their regular quarter/semester. If you're not a student of either university, then you'll have to enroll via their open university system. If there are spaces left after the regular students have enrolled, then you are allowed to enroll. It's kinda like crashing a class.

Another option is to take UCSD's Extension Korean language course. The UCSD Extension differs from the regular quarter as it is open to all in the community and as a means to further educate those who are working. I have recently taken this course and the teacher is great. However, the next time the class will be offered is in Fall.

There is also a private Korean language institution called Language Door on Mission Gorge rd. I am not sure how much the classes are but they do offer Korean. I might take this class someday.

The last option is do go to a Korean language club meetup. They usually meet every Wednesday to help each other out with Korean homework and grammar.

I hope this helps!
