BOISE, Idaho — After another record high in Boise yesterday, temperatures may get even warmer today! The forecast high in Boise is 64 degrees today, which would break the previous record of 61 degrees set in 1992. This would be the third consecutive day of record high temperatures in Boise.
Look for mostly sunny skies throughout the morning and most of the afternoon. We'll start to see increasing clouds by the late afternoon as tomorrow's storm inches closer to our southwest Idaho.
Showers will begin early Thursday morning. Scattered showers will likely continue for most of the day on Thursday with more rain expected into Friday. In total, we could see up to a half inch of rain in the valley with snow expected above 6000' in the mountains.
Cool air accompanying tomorrow's storm will drop temperatures fairly quickly over the next few days. Look for highs in the mid-50s tomorrow. Highs will likely drop into the mid to upper 40s over the weekend.
