Da Kitchen in Kahului will be “suspending” its food service in its Kahului location, according to a social media post by the restaurant Monday evening.
Its last day of operation will be July 22.
“While we don’t know if this is goodbye forever, know that you, the plates, smiles and experiences we shared will live in our hearts forever,” the post on Facebook said.
The announcement Monday comes less than a month since Da Kitchen closed its Kihei location on July 5. It was the first Da Kitchen site on Maui, according to the business’ website. It opened in 1998.
The Kahului location has been open since 2000.
The award-winning eatery incorporates classic local and Hawaiian food and has been featured on various Food Network shows.
